MAKAK - Mírně Adrenalinový Klub Anglické Konverzace vedený tvořivým a netradičním způsobem rodilým mluvčím z USA.

Pro dospělé a dospívající, každou středu od 17.15 do 18.45 v malé klubovně MC Sedmikráska, Oblá 51.

What is MAKAK?

MAKAK is a weekly club intended to provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere for people to practice speaking English.

What to expect?

Each week there will be a particular topic, which will be the focus of that week’s conversations. We will have a time to learn germane vocabulary words, read a relevant passage or article, do some kind of activity to practice the words and finally discuss the topic using some questions.

Who can come to MAKAK?

Although a basic command of the English language would be helpful, all skill levels are welcome. Please don’t be afraid to come if you’re a beginner. Also, you can join at any time during the year.

 Who leads MAKAK?

Ryan Over is a recent graduate from University of Rochester in Rochester, NY with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. He is learning Czech while working with Betanie Novy-Liskovec before he returns to the USA to begin a PhD in Biochemistry next fall. Christy Gascho and her husband (and four kids!) have lived in the Czech Republic for quite a while working with Betanie. Christy speaks Czech fluently and teaches English conversation at Zakladni skola Hroznova.
